ABSTRACT
Primary carcinoma of the fallopian tube is a rare malignancy of the female genital tract and infrequently diagnosed preoperatively. A 57 year-old, gravida 4, parity 4 woman having primary fallopian tube carcinoma is presented. Her complaint was vaginal discharge, and a pelvic mass was found by gynecological examination. Abdominal total hysterectomy, bilateral salpingo-oopherectomy, omentectomy and appendectomy were performed. Histopathological examination showed bilateral fallopian tube adenocarcinoma grade II, metastases to serosal surfaces of uterus, cervix, ovaries, omentum, periton and appendix. Postoperatively the patient has received six cycles of chemotherapy(carboplatin and cytoxan) and she is still under routine control.
