ÖZET
Toxoplazmozis yeryüzünde en sık görülen enfeksiyonlardan biridir. Kronik enfeksiyonun gebelik üzerine etkisi tartışmalı olmasına karşın, gebelikte enfeksiyon geçiren annelerin bebekleri konjenital enfeksiyon, intrauterin ölüm, prematürite ve intrauterin gelişme geriliği riski taşımaktadır. Akut enfeksiyon genellikle subklinik seyrettiğinden, vakaların tespiti için bütün gebelere serolojik tarama gereklidir. Literatürde seropozitiflik oranları yaşla artarak ortalama %20-50 arasında, gebelikte akut enfeksiyon geçirme oranı %0.27-1.5 arasında değişmektedir. Yöremizde ise seropozitiflik %48, gebelikte akut enfeksiyon %1 oranında gözlenmektedir.
ABSTRACT
Toxoplasmosis is one of the most frequent infections on the world. Although the effects of chronic infection on pregnancy are not known well, it's clear that the babies whose mothers get infection during pregnancy have several problems like congenital infection, intrauterin death, prematurity and intrauterine growth retardation. Serologic screening is mandatory for all pregnant women because acute maternal infection is generally subclinic and cn not be detected otherwise. The incidence of seropositive cases in the USA and Europe is 20-50% and, the incidence of acute infection during pregnancy is 0.27-1.5%. The rates in our city are 48% for seropositive cases and 1% for acute infection. During pregnancy.
